Ingredients
2 fresh salmon fillets
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Method
Make the glaze – Whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Place salmon fillets in the glaze for 15–20 minutes to soak up flavour.
Pan-sear – Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes until crisp.
Flip & glaze – Turn salmon over, cook for another 3–4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fish until it’s golden and caramelised.
Serve – Enjoy with rice, steamed veggies, or a crisp salad for a balanced meal.
