Fish4Africa - fresh Fish
Fish4Africa - Frozen Seafood

Fish 4 Africa follows our own traceability and sustainable policies. We are proud members of the following SECIFA, SATA, SAHALLA, BirdLife and WWF.

Seafood is respected globally in many diverse cultures as an essential source of protein and healthy fats. For thousands of years, populations have fished to provide for their families and local communities. Today, with the increased awareness of health benefits associated with omega-3 fatty acids found in fish and the increase in population, there’s a huge demand pressure on fresh fish and seafood products.

This has led to fishing practices that are depleting fish and shellfish around the world. Fish4Africa recognizes the importance of continuing to rely on the ocean as an important source of food and considers the need to maintain fish stocks and reduce overfishing and bycatch through fisheries management. Through our partnership with SAHLLA, our vessel the MFV Nicolette was able to take part in an experimental and research exercise which contributed to moving Longline Hake and Longline Kingklip from the Orange SASSI list to the Green SASSI list.
