SOCIAL MEDIA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The promoter is: Fish4Africa™.
  2. The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or over except employees of Fish4Africa and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the social media competitions.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Social media competitions are run on Facebook and Instagram.
  6. Multiple entries from the same person will be allowed.
  7. The start and close date will be listed on the social media post.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
  10. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  11. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  12. The winner will be notified via DM on Instagram/Facebook. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  13. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
  14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  16. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material.
  17. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Fish4Africa’s Festive Riddle Hunt Terms and Conditions 

  1. The promoter of this promotion is Fish4Africa. 1 Southdale Road, Stor-Age park Edgemead.
  2. Entry is free and open to South African residents aged 18 years and over only in South Africa. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and the suppliers and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
  3. This competition commences 5 December 2022 and ends 9 December 2022, midnight (“Competition Period”). Entrants may enter as many times as they like. Late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected responses will be deemed invalid. 
  4. To enter this competition, entrants must, during the Competition Period:
  • Step 1. Follow or be following @fish4africa on Facebook or Instagram
  • Step 2: Find a hidden icon on the website at least once and fill in the pop up window and enter their details.

    The winning Entry will be picked at random from all the Entries (“the Draw”) on 12 December 2022 at the address of the Promoter.
    6.There will be one (1) winner.
    7.The winner will be contacted via a phone call and/or email on the day. The winner is required to respond to the Promoter’s direct message within seven (7) days.
    8.The prize winner will receive:
  • A festive seafood hamper made up of 
    • 1 box 16/20 Prawns 700g
    • 1 pack Prawn Meat 800g
    • 1 pack of 10 Crayfish Tails
    • 1 X 1kg Norwegian Salmon
    • 24 Large Oysters
    • 1 pack Calamari Rings 800g

9.If any prize remains unclaimed by 28th December 2021, the Promoter may deem that the winner is ineligible to receive the prize.
10.In the event that the Winner does not claim the prize in accordance with clause 10, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a new winner (“New Winner”) from the remainder of the Entries.
11.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of prizes. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute another item of equal or lesser value for that prize, as determined by the Promoter.
12.Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the competition is deemed an acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
13.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the identity of entrants. Proof of entry and identity will only be deemed as sufficient at the discretion of the Promoter.
14.If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being properly conducted due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves its rights to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this competition, to the extent permitted by law.
15.The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
16.The Promoter reserves the right to reject, disqualify and remove any Entry that contains offensive, inappropriate or derogatory material. Any Entry containing such content may be deemed invalid at the discretion of the Promoter.
17.Personal information provided by entrants will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition and otherwise in accordance with contestants’ consent. The Promoter may disclose entrant’s personal information to its contractors and agents in relation to the conduct of this competition.
18.This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Instagram/ Facebook/Meta. By entering, entrants agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Instagram from and against any claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action, losses or costs arising out of their participation in the promotion.
