• Bacalhau | Salted Cod Fish



    Bacalhau can be enjoyed in a number of different ways:

    • Oven-Baked
    • Grill

    Nutrition Value: Vitamin A, Vitamin B6 and Potassium, and a very good source of Protein, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B12

    Portion Size per person: 250g – 300g

    Taste: Its flavor isn’t salty as you would expect, but in fact mild, yet still fishy, with a hint of sweetness to it. After hydrating it, its texture is plump and the fillets are firm. Once it is rehydrated, bacalao becomes delicate and tender.

    Similarities: Cod fish is similar to Hake
