At Fish4Africa, food is more than just a meal — it’s family, tradition, and the joy of gathering around the table. This Creamy Seafood Pasta comes straight from the kitchen of Antoinette, one of our original founders and the proud mother of our Managing Director.
With her roots in both Portuguese and Mauritian heritage, Antoinette grew up cooking alongside her father, who loved to experiment with flavours and fresh ingredients. Those lessons in the kitchen became the foundation of the dishes she still makes for her family today.

Ingredients
2 tbsp Fish4Africa Garlic-Infused Olive Oil
1 onion, chopped or sliced
1 red pepper, chopped or sliced
A handful of celery and parsley, chopped
1 pack of Fish4Africa Seafood Mix (prawns, mussels, white fish, salmon & tuna – all boneless)
2 Knorr chicken stock cubes
2 tbsp tomato purée
250ml fresh cream
1 packet pasta (uncooked)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Method
Sauté the base: Warm the garlic-infused olive oil in a large pot. Add onion, red pepper, and half of the celery/parsley. Cook until softened and aromatic.
Add the seafood: Stir in the seafood mix and cook until just seared.
Build the sauce: Add the chicken stock cubes, tomato purée, and cream. Stir well to create a rich, velvety base.
Add more flavour: Mix in the remaining celery and parsley.
Cook the pasta: Add the uncooked pasta straight into the sauce, stirring occasionally until tender and infused with flavour.
Season & serve: Adjust with salt and pepper. Serve hot for the whole family to enjoy.
This Heritage Day, bring the family together with a dish that honours tradition, heritage, and the bounty of the sea. Pair it with a fresh green salad, some crusty bread, and a chilled glass of white wine for the perfect Sunday lunch.
